Dynamic number porting in 2025. Who gained the most?


In the fourth quarter of 2025 alone, 452,331 numbers were ported in mobile networks. This is a clear increase compared to the third quarter, when the number of transfers amounted to 399,338.

Poles are changing operators like never before
The operators' balance sheet during this period was varied. The biggest winner in the fourth quarter was Orange Polska, which gained 20,121 SIM card users. P4, the operator of the Play network (without data from the former UPC Polska), was also in the black, gaining 28,160 customers. In turn, Polkomtel (Plus) lost as many as 65,779 users, and T-Mobile ended the quarter with a loss of 35,207 SIM cards.
There was also an increase in customer activity in the fixed-line telephony segment. In the fourth quarter of 2025, 81,069 numbers were ported, i.e. almost 21,000 more. more than in the previous quarter, when it was 60,170 numbers.

Throughout 2025, a total of 1,691,303 numbers were ported in mobile networks. The operators' annual balance sheet shows clear differences in their effectiveness in attracting and retaining customers. Orange Polska ended the year with a positive result, gaining 27,205 SIM card users. However, the biggest beneficiary of customer migration was Play, which acquired 71,538 users during the year.
Polkomtel fared much worse, losing 169,035 customers in 2025, while T-Mobile recorded a decline of 69,441 SIM cards.

In the fixed-line segment, 259,932 numbers were ported throughout 2025, which confirms that users of traditional telephony are also increasingly deciding to change service providers.
The statistics presented come from the Location and Information Platform with the Central Database (PLI CBD), managed by the President of UKE. This system enables precise monitoring of number transfer processes between operators and is one of the key tools for analyzing the competitiveness of the telecommunications market in Poland.
