In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, traffic inspectors provided assistance to the driver of a broken down car in the cold. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
A driver called the police duty station in Zelenogorsk at about 2 a.m. and reported that his car had broken down in the area of State District Power Plant-2.
A traffic police crew came to help the car owner.
“On the spot, traffic police inspectors, senior police lieutenant Alexei Drachev and police lieutenant Maxim Lakiza, established that the 24-year-old driver of a Honda car went for a ride with friends, but the engine stalled on the way. The mark on the thermometer at that time reached −27 degrees. The police decided to tow the vehicle to the driver’s residence. The young people thanked the inspectors for their caring attitude towards the service and their help in a difficult situation,” the regional police reported.

Law enforcement officers remind drivers that before driving they need to check that the car is ready for use, especially in frosty weather. Also take warm clothes on your trip and check the charge level of your phone, so that if a difficult traffic situation arises, you can immediately call emergency services.
