Sofia and Mikhail became the most popular names for newborns in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the year

The Civil Registry Office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory summed up the results of the year and compiled a rating of the most popular names for newborns. The leaders among girls were Sofia, Eva and Varvara, and among boys – Mikhail, Alexander and Artyom.
Also in 2025, parents often called their daughters Anna and Maria. For sons, the names Matvey and Lev turned out to be in demand.
The registry office also named rare names. The newborn girls were named Yusro, Aya, Neonila, Adaria and Ani. Among the boys, the names Dimitri, Mikhail-Nik, Tamerlan, Arzylan and Abdukhalil were noted.
