War in Ukraine. Poles predict this future in 2026 [SONDAŻ]


According to the survey results published in Friday's edition of “Rz”, 45.9 percent respondents believe that the war is unlikely to end in 2026, and 13.7% believe that it will definitely not end. 18.3 percent expects that the war will probably end, and 3.3% believe that it will definitely happen. 18.8 percent respondents have no opinion on this matter.

“Among those who believe that the conflict in the east will not end in 2026, supporters of the government dominate, but there are also much fewer supporters of the opposition in this group. They get information about the world from YouTube channels and podcasts, such as Kanał Zero or System Open, as well as TVN 24 news channels, as well as 'Fakty' TVN,” the newspaper writes.
– Poles are realists – commented Gen. Stanisław Koziej, former head of the National Security Bureau, for “Rz”. And according to the former GROM commander, General Roman Polko, quoted by the newspaper, our compatriots do not believe what Vladimir Putin says. – Although, for now, we do not know the results of the peace talks between the US, Ukraine and Russia – he said.
The IBRIS survey was conducted using the CATI method on December 19-20, 2025 on a group of 1,068 respondents.
