A female driver entered a car from the opposite direction: five people injured and traffic blocked on DN1, in Sibiu

Five conscious people are transported to the Emergency County Clinical Hospital in Sibiu, being injured following the road accident that took place on Thursday on DN1, in Hula Bradului, where three cars were involved.

Five people arrived at the hospital following an accident that took place on Thursday, on DN1, at Hula Bradului, in Sibiu county.
“Following the medical evaluation, five people are transported to the hospital: a 46-year-old woman with chest trauma and multiple contusions; a 47-year-old man with chest trauma; a 52-year-old man with lumbar pain; a 48-year-old woman with cervical pain; a 31-year-old woman with a panic attack. All victims are transported to UPU Sibiu conscious”, said the spokesperson of ISU Sibiu, Andreea Ştefan.

The fault for the accident would be a 31-year-old female driver who lost control of the direction and entered the car on the opposite side, driven by a 47-year-old man, being then pushed into another car by a 52-year-old foreign citizen.
“Following the collision, the 31-year-old woman, the 47-year-old driver and his 46-year-old passenger, as well as the other driver and his passenger, also a foreign citizen, 48 years old, suffered bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical care. Research is ongoing for establishing all the circumstances of the road accident and taking legal measures. Traffic is still blocked.” stated the Police.
