The boycott of the meetings of the Constitutional Court is not an isolated incident, but the result of a political process that began in 2017, says Tudor Chirilă. In a post on Facebook, the artist claims that decisions made and tolerated over the years have weakened justice, and public attention risks moving away from the real causes.

The artist Tudor Chirilă claims, in a post on Facebook, that the boycott of the Constitutional Court sessions by four judges appointed by the PSD is not the main cause of the judicial crisis, but the result of an older process.

“The four PSD judges who boycotted the CCR meetings are only the consequence of a history that begins as early as 2017 (well, and much further back in time),” writes Chirilă. He adds that this evolution can be easily followed: “with two or three questions on Google and ChatGPT you can formulate it very easily”.

The artist warns that the public discussion risks focusing on a narrow circle of people, while the main responsible remain out of focus. “It's good not to forget because the focus shifts away from the real contributors by narrowing the circle,” he says. “These four are just ax tails,” states Chirilă.

In the same post, he also mentions other names that he says are unaffected by the current focus of criticism. “But, for example, Cătălin Predoiu is fine, thank you”, writes the artist. About the head of the CSM he states: “Savonea, who has more power than Ilie Bolojan and Nicușor Dan combined, because she has corruption behind her, it's good to go again”.

Chirilă also makes a connection with the protests of previous years. “Those who took to the streets in 2017-2018 were made Sorosists,” he writes, adding: “Today we are also made Sorosists by those who made us Sorosists in 2017. But the facts speak. We were not in the Parliament, we were not at the CCR. We only in the street.”

At the end, Tudor Chirilă also says who he thinks is responsible for the judicial situation: “PSD + ALDE created the mechanism, UDMR helped it punctually, PNL legitimized it by not repairing it, CCR stabilized it”. In his opinion, “the system works today under pressure, fear and blockage”.
