Porsche, Bugatti and Egyptian billionaires. This could be a big deal


According to Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter, HOF Capital and BlueFive Capital are in talks to purchase Porsche's shares in Bugatti Rimac.

Porsche, Bugatti and Egyptian billionaires. How much is the transaction worth?
The potential transaction would include the acquisition of Porsche's stake in the joint venturewhich owns the Bugatti supercar brand, which Porsche currently shares with the Croatian Rimac group.
Bloomberg notes that HOF Capital, co-founded by a member of the Egyptian billionaire Sawiris familytogether with its partners, also intends to acquire Porsche's shares in the Rimac Group itself as part of this transaction.

According to reports the transaction may be valued at over EUR 1 billion (equivalent to over PLN 4.2 billion).
As part of the proposed transaction, HOF Capital may provide additional capital to Rimac Group to support its expansion plans.
