According to France24, in early December, Clooney praised French privacy laws on the German radio station RTL in English, and also said that he likes French culture and language.
He added that he completed French language courses, but still does not speak it very well. He added that the most important thing for his family in France is that in this country “they don’t take pictures of children, and there are no paparazzi at the school gates.”
After receiving French passports, the Cooleney family retained American citizenship.
