In Krasnoyarsk, the city hall concluded 10 contracts for the protection of city cemeteries with the Elbrus agency bypassing competitive procedures. This was reported in the regional prosecutor's office.

“Speaking in defense of the interests of the municipality, the prosecutor’s office applied to the court with a statement of claim for the recognition of transactions invalid and applying the consequences of their nullity,” the department explained.

The court recognized the actions of the parties with the unfair exercise of civil rights and collected the amount of unjust enrichment in the amount of 4 million rubles from the contracting company.

The prosecutor's office also sent information to the regional antitrust service on violation of the legislation on the protection of competition. The goal is to establish which of the officials of the department authorized the illegal scheme, and bring guilty persons to justice.
