The famous boxer Anthony Joshua was injured in a shocking road accident in Nigeria, as a result of which two people are said to have died.
The British superstar, 36, is believed to have suffered minor injuries as a passenger in the horrific crash in which two other occupants of the same car are believed to have lost their lives, according to The Sun.

The car Joshua was in, a Lexus SUV, is believed to have collided with a truck near a petrol station on the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Nigeria. Emergency crews rushed to the scene as crowds formed around the scene of the fatal crash.
According to The Sun, Joshua was taken to hospital for treatment, according to Lanre Ogunlowo, the Ogun State Police Commissioner. Dramatic footage shows bystanders helping a visibly shaken Joshua out of the wrecked car. He is in good condition, as eyewitnesses report that he has been talking to paramedics. He was able to sit up on his own but had to be extricated from the involved car.
In addition to Anthony Joshua, there were three passengers in the car. Unfortunately, according to those present at the scene of the accident, two of them died on the spot.

One of the witnesses told how the tragic event unfolded.
“It was a convoy of two vehicles: a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV. Joshua was sitting behind the driver with another person next to him. There was also a passenger sitting next to the driver, making the severely damaged Lexus four passengers.
I and other eyewitnesses started the rescue and stopped oncoming vehicles to help. A few minutes after the accident, the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived. The passenger next to the driver and the passenger next to Joshua died on the spot“, said a witness, according to the aforementioned source.
Joshua boxed earlier this month against Jake Paul in Miami. With the money earned, Joshua reportedly went on holiday to Nigeria.
