According to Grossi, the local truce was reached through the mediation of the IAEA.
The agency's team is said to be monitoring repair work, which is expected to last several days.
“General Director Grossi thanks both parties for agreeing to this new temporary “window of silence” in order to resume the transmission of electricity between the distribution stations of the Zaporozhye NPP and the Zaporozhye Thermal Power Plant, which will help strengthen nuclear safety,” the statement said.
