All the companies subordinated to the General City Hall of the Municipality of Bucharest are forced to implement by the end of the day a decision of the General Council by which the salaries of the directors and the urges of the members of the Board of Directors are capped, announced the interim mayor, Stelian Bujduveanu.

“All the municipal companies have the obligation to implement the decision of the council until the end of the day.

He stated that 45 days are on Monday from the approval of the respective decision by the CGMB, specifying that during this week the information on how the General Council decision was implemented.

“I will have a discussion with each director separately, from companies. I think there is a lot to do at the level of municipal companies. 45 days ago I made a decision, considering common sense to reduce all salaries at the level of municipal companies – some unreasonable salaries – and the allowance of the members of the Board of Directors. General Council.

Salaries of 40,000 lei for a directory

Bujduveanu said that it is not possible for a director to take a salary of 40,000 lei, given that the Government adopts measures to reduce the budget deficit.

“I believe that they understood that in this situation no one can afford to play the Romanians and have salaries of 40,000 lei, in the context in which we see what measures he has to take the government to financially recover the country,” said Bujduveanu.

On June 25, CGMB approved the decision based on which the salaries of the directors in the municipal companies will be capped at the level of the deputy mayor of the Capital.

At the same time, the remuneration of the non-executive members of the Board of Directors will be made up of a monthly fixed allowance, which will not be able to exceed the average for the last 12 months of the average monthly gross salary for the activity carried out according to the main activity registered by the company.

The remuneration of the executive members of the Board of Directors or of the general directors will be made up of a fixed monthly and a variable allowance. The fixed monthly allowance will not be able to exceed the monthly level of the deputy mayor of the Capital.

At the same time, the monthly remuneration of other leaders of the economic operators who have an individual employment contract with the companies of the City Hall will not be able to exceed the level of the monthly allowance for the deputy mayor of the Capital.
