Cezary Miżejewski is dead. He is a former deputy minister of labor


Cezary Miżejewski was a democratic opposition activist in the 1980s, he was a member of the Robotnik Political Group, and he published the underground magazine “Praca, Płaca, BHP”. He was a founding member of the revived Polish Socialist Party.

In the years 1993-1997, he was elected as a member of the Sejm of the second term from the SLD list. He was an advisor to the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Jerzy Hausner, and from 2004 he served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy, and then Secretary of State at the Ministry of Social Policy.

He was the author of several laws, including: on social employment and social cooperatives. He also became an employee of the “Opoka” social cooperative in Klucze, and was also the chairman of the National Audit Association of Social Cooperatives.
