The man left home on December 24, and on the evening of Christmas Day, around 6:00 p.m., the family notified the Police because he did not return home, nor was he admitted to the medical unit where he had presented himself.
Sources from among the investigators exclude, for now, any fault of the medical personnel who consulted the man. The victim was not in a precarious general condition that would require hospitalization, according to local media.
The police made public the photo and the details of the elderly, requesting the support of the population to identify him.
On Friday afternoon, the Prahova County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) announced that the man was found dead on a plot of land near Ploiesti.
“The preliminary examination of the body did not reveal any traces of violence. Following the checks carried out, there are no suspicions that the deceased person was the victim of any crime”, the IPJ Prahova representatives sent.
Research is being continued to clarify all the circumstances in which the man died, as a criminal case has been opened for manslaughter.
