President Nicușor Dan sent a Christmas message on Thursday morning, saying that this holiday “reminds us of home, the magic of childhood and brings us closer to the essence of the values that give meaning to our lives”, regardless of where we are.
The head of state, who is celebrating Christmas in Făgăraş, said that “moments spent in family and the joy of having loved ones close are the most precious gifts, which, in the tumult of everyday life, we sometimes risk not appreciating as much as we should”.
“The birth of Christ is for us, Christians, the celebration of hope, light and the truth of faith. Wherever we are, Christmas reminds us of home, of the magic of childhood and brings us closer to the essence of the values that give meaning to our lives,” the president wrote in a post on Facebook.
Nicusor Dan wished all the citizens “a blessed Christmas”.
“In these special days, let us find peace of mind, the power to be better, wiser and more understanding so that, together, we can regain the strength of a nation aware of its identity and determined to build its future with confidence. I wish you all a blessed Christmas!”, concluded the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan.
