There is already opposition to the Israel-Iran armistice. An Israeli parliamentarian from Netanyahu's Likud party opposes the cessation of fire with Iran.

Dan Illuz, a member of Netanyahu's Likud Party, said that the only agreement that the government must sign is the “surrender agreement” of Iran.

In a statement posted on X, Illuz said that “the Iran regime is not a regime with which agreements are made-but a regime that must be defeated.”

Illuz said that “if not defeated”, Iran will find new means against Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

This comes in the context in which Netanyahu is facing pressure from the right members of his coalition, as well as from the harsh line from his own party, who insists that Israel will continue the actions against Iran.

In recent days, Netanyahu has allowed it to be understood to support a change of regime in Iran, while the Israeli press pleads for a division of Iran on ethnic criteria, supports the same television in Doha, appreciated as one of the most influential voices of the Panarabe world.

The reaction in Israel comes after US President Donald Trump announced on Monday night that Iran and Israel agreed on a “total” cessation of fire to end the conflict.

The announcement was made a few hours after Iran launched a rocket attack on an American military base in Qatar, in response to American attacks on its nuclear installations. There were no victims, the Iranian missiles being mostly intercepted, and the Tehran announcing Qatar and, says Trump, USA.

The families of the hostages in Gaza support the extension of the armistice

The relatives of the Israeli prisoners held in Gaza call on their government to end the war in the Palestinian territory and to ensure the return of the hostages.

“The fire termination agreement must be extended to include Gaza. We call on the Government to urgently engage in discussions that will lead to all the hostages and the cessation of the war. If they can get a ceasefire with Iran, they can also end the war in Gaza,” the Families of the Families said.
