The incident occurred during the arrest of a man in the city, the public claims.
The Rivne TCC and SP stated that the civilians in the video interfered with the performance of military duties.
“Concerning the possible unlawful actions of one of the servicemen of the TCC and SP in relation to a civilian with a child in her arms, we report the following: the intervention of the female civilian population, especially with minor children, in any situations that may pose a danger to children is, at a minimum, irresponsible,” the statement says.
The TCC called the woman’s behavior “cynical and irresponsible.”
“It is especially cynical to use children as a shield from the law. This is not a manifestation of maternal instinct, but a conscious attempt to evade responsibility, which violates not only the law, but also the moral order,” the military said.
