I plant once and collect all summer: three varieties of cucumbers for a lazy garden – they grow even next to the fence

Not all cucumbers are equally healthy. Some are bitter from the heat, others turn into a rag in the marinade, others require perfect sun and drip watering. But there are proven varieties: unpretentious, productive and truly tasty. They are suitable even for a small garden bed near the fence and will produce a harvest until September.

Ant F1

A super early hybrid that begins to bear fruit after 40 days. The fruits are 8–10 cm, dense, with small tubercles and thin skin. They do not become bitter, do not overgrow and are ideal for whole pickling. Even if you forgot to assemble it on time, they will remain crispy.

Courage F1

One of the most productive – up to 8 kg per bush with minimal care. Cucumbers are smooth, 12–14 cm long, with a rich aroma and dense flesh. They can be cut into salads, pickled in pieces, or eaten straight from the garden. Resistant to major diseases, does not require treatment.

fontanel

A variety that has been proven for decades, and not a hybrid, which means you can collect your seeds and plant them for years. The fruits are 10–12 cm, with pronounced ribbing and a bright taste. Grows well in partial shade, is not afraid of cool weather, and produces a healthy harvest.

These three varieties cover all the needs: early harvest, stable returns and the possibility of harvesting. They do not require a greenhouse, insect pollination or daily care
