In Krasnoyarsk, two local residents were arrested, suspected of selling synthetic drugs committed organized group.
It was established that previously convicted 50-year-old women worked in one of the online stores and distributed prohibited substances through bookmarks. On Christmas Eve, the defendants placed about 1 gram of methadone in hiding places on Menzhinsky Street, near which the police were already waiting for them.

A criminal case was opened against the detainees under Part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and taken into custody during the investigation. For the crime he is charged with, punishment is provided in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 20 years.
Regional Drug Control and Rospotrebnadzor warn that methadone is one of the most dangerous synthetic prohibited substances, and its use in every second case ends in death.
