Donald Trump appeared again with a bandage on his right hand. The White House has an explanation: “From aspirin”

In the context of US President Donald Trump wearing a bandage on the back of his right hand in recent days, the White House reiterated on Thursday that this is due to the many handshakes he has, reports AFP.

“I have given you an explanation for this in the past”spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said Thursday.
She was asked about these dressings, which only recently came to light.
“The president is constantly shaking hands”the spokeswoman said, reiterating the explanation already offered a few months ago, when the US president was seen with a bruise on the back of his right hand, covered with a thick layer of makeup, writes Agerpres.
“Also take aspirin daily” as a preventive cardiovascular treatment, added Karoline Leavitt, “which can contribute to these bruises that you see.”
This explanation had already been put forward by the White House, before the appearance of the dressings that Donald Trump, aged 79, wore, for example, on Sunday, during a gala in Washington.
The issue of health is a sensitive one for the oldest American president ever elected, who has repeatedly argued that his Democratic predecessor, Joe Biden, was so senile that he could no longer care for himself at the end of his term.
On Tuesday night, Donald Trump, in an angry message on his Truth Social network, called articles about his health “rebellion, perhaps even treason”.
The US president underwent a medical examination in October, including an MRI, and his doctor declared him to be in excellent health.
