The revelations that have shaken Real Madrid, related to the blunder made by the medical staff regarding an injury to Kylian Mbappe, could end up in front of the judges. The management of the blanco club is going to sue Daniel Riolo, the RMC Sport journalist, whom they accuse of spreading information inconsistent with reality.

Daniel Riolo had revealed to RMC Sport that Mbappe “went to one of the biggest knee surgery specialists in France. Meanwhile, we know there was a misdiagnosis in Madrid. He was not at all pleased, even angry.

For Real Madrid, what happened is a total shame. The diagnosis was a major error. It could have been much worse for Mbappé. What is being said in “official circles” is that the blunder is absolutely huge.

Real Madrid are said to have examined the wrong knee. Do you think I'm talking nonsense? They fired everyone. Do you realize what a humiliation for a club like Real Madrid?!”.

“It undermines the credibility of journalism. Florentino Pérez considers what the journalist said scandalous!”

To extinguish the scandal, Kylian Mbappe came out with an official statement, which did not fully convince: “Maybe I am indirectly responsible for this situation, because, if you don't talk about what you have, you leave room for all kinds of interpretations, everyone talks – and that's how it gets here.”

Real Madrid claims that the news published by Riolo is completely untrue and does not rule out taking legal action against him. Siro López revealed this on his Twitch channel:

“Those in the management of Real Madrid believe that Daniel Riolo made up the information and the situation is unacceptable. These undermines the credibility of journalism. Florentino Pérez considers what the journalist said scandalousand the club's lawyers are considering filing a lawsuit.”

Real Madrid threatens him with the court:

The Defensa Central publication writes that “Siro López admits that Mbappé may be somewhat unhappy with the way the injury has been handled, pointing out that Real Madrid were also unhappy with the player's behavior in recent weeks.

However, he argues that there is a significant difference between this and the claim that Real Madrid misdiagnosed Mbappe's knee when examining his injury.”

The quoted source concludes that “the club's image has been seriously damaged and, for this reason, the journalist could find himself facing a lawsuit. In the coming days, all doubts will be cleared up about this matter, which generated so much discussion during the last international break before the World Cup.”
