Recruitment of fighters for the new unmanned systems troops created in November of this year has begun in Krasnoyarsk.
Maxim Chernykh and Oleg Ivanov are the first fighters who will leave Krasnoyarsk for the BPS troops. Ahead of them are training, an exam, and only then service in a special military operation zone as UAV operators. Maxim is 35 years old and an entrepreneur. Like a real man, I decided to go to the Northern Military District to defend the Motherland. He believes that serving in the new troops is a good prospect for the future. Oleg is 20 years old, he just served in the army, but he already knows all types of drones, their purpose and features.
“The same thing as, in principle, video games. How to fly airplanes is not difficult. Representatives came and showed how everything worked. First we flew on simulators, then on real drones. The most important thing now in drones is that we pave the way for the guys before the assaults, because these are their eyes in fact,” explained the essence of the work, operator of the Russian BPS troops Oleg.

Previously, drone operators were listed in other military specialties – artillerymen, reconnaissance officers, and signalmen. Now their work receives official status, its own structure and management system. Regular regiments, battalions and other units have been formed. This will centralize the training of specialists, as well as the use of unmanned systems at all levels.
“Who signs a contract for UAV units, they serve only in these units. They cannot be transferred to any other motorized rifle units. And one more feature: the contract is signed for a year, that is, after the end of the contract, you can freely write a report to the commander and resign, come home to your homeland,” said Denis Ganzha, deputy head of the selection point for military service under a contract in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Today, Russian unmanned systems hit about 300 targets per day in the zone of a special military operation. They are also used to deliver supplies and ammunition, evacuate the wounded and mine the area.
Anyone wishing to serve under a contract in the troops of unmanned systems is welcome at the selection point at the address: Red Square, 17.
Let us remind you that one-time payments to fighters from Krasnoyarsk are now among the highest in the country. If a contract is concluded before December 26 of this year, the fighter receives 3.5 million rubles.
