A Krasnoyarsk couple got married in traditional handmade dresses. The photographs were shared by the Civil Registry Office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Alexey and Ekaterina got married at the wedding palace in Krasnoyarsk. The main feature of the celebration was the wedding dresses – they were sewn by the groom's mother with her own hands.
“She put not only skill into the outfit, but also all her motherly love, warmth and care. This is a real family treasure, created specifically for this day,” the department’s press service noted.
Earlier, ethnographic specialists addressed the newlyweds with a recommendation to take a responsible approach to choosing a national costumesince each of its elements – embroidery, ornament, color scheme – carries deep symbolism and reflects the identity of a particular people.
