In January-October, Krasnoyarsk Cement LLC (a subsidiary of Sibcem Holding Company JSC) produced 557 thousand tons of products – 16% less than in 10 months of 2024. The volume of shipments also decreased by 16% and amounted to 561 thousand tons.

Cement consumption in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has been declining since the middle of last year. Analysts explain the decline observed in the Russian industry as a whole by a decrease in construction activity and the launch of new projects in the housing market.

In the current season, Krasnoyarsk Cement LLC continues to supply products to key objects of housing, infrastructure, and industrial construction, including the Krasnoyarsk metro, large residential microdistricts of Krasnoyarsk (Chizhi, Yudinsky, Barbaris, Runway residential complex and others), deposits of the gold mining company Polyus, Kureyskaya HPP of Norilsk, as well as the second Kodarsky tunnel of the East Siberian Railway roads.

In the reporting period, the company confirmed the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.

The plant's product range includes five general construction and four special types of cement. In 2026, it is planned to continue work to expand the product line, including through cements with mineral additives.

Financial investments in the technical re-equipment of Krasnoyarsk Cement LLC in 2025 will amount to about 177 million rubles including VAT (taking into account the cost of objects acquired under leasing agreements).

In the first half of the year, the Krasnoyarsk Cement Plant, Avtotractorny workshop, received equipment for transporting raw materials that was more productive than the existing ones – a new mining dump truck with a carrying capacity of more than 30 tons was put into operation. The company's vehicle fleet was also replenished with a forklift with a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a service passenger bus with 30 seats.

The installation and commissioning of combined scales and access roads have been successfully completed. Scales are designed for weighing and loading bulk cement into road and rail transport.

The plant pays special attention to the optimization of technological processes. In particular, the process of preparing working sludge is automated in the “Raw Materials” workshop. These measures made it possible to stabilize the operation of raw material mills, and their hourly productivity increased. Good results have also been achieved as part of a project to reduce the overall consumption of compressed air for cement production.

The implementation of the repair program contributes to ensuring efficient, uninterrupted production of products; more than 1 billion rubles excluding VAT have been allocated for these purposes this year.

At the production site of Krasnoyarsk Cement LLC, measures are systematically taken to reduce the volume of emissions into the atmosphere; 71 gas treatment plants operate. The company continues to participate in the federal project “Clean Air” of the national project “Ecological Well-Being”. Part of the project was the IV All-Russian campaign “I Choose Clean Air”, within the framework of which more than 25 blue spruce trees were planted on the territory of the plant.

This year, it is planned to allocate 32 million rubles including VAT to improve the level of environmental safety of production. In particular, a project to modernize the automatic measuring system for emissions control is being implemented. Using this system, information on the amount of emissions from air pollution sources will be transmitted every 20 minutes to the state register of facilities that have a negative impact on the environment.

The Krasnoyarsk Cement Plant has long established itself as a reliable employer and responsible taxpayer; the volume of total tax contributions of the enterprise to budgets of all levels for January-October 2025 amounted to more than 800 million rubles.

The organization is interested in developing a highly qualified, talented and efficient team of employees capable of effectively solving assigned tasks. A licensed corporate training center operates on the basis of the plant, where employees can, without interrupting their work, improve their level of professional qualifications or obtain a related specialty, and undergo in-house distance learning. In addition, plant workers regularly conduct career guidance events, including sightseeing field trips, for schoolchildren and students.

Special support measures also help make the company more attractive to young people. In particular, at the plant employees are compensated for food costs and, if necessary, are provided with comfortable travel to and from work. Special support is provided to veterans of Krasnoyarsk Cement LLC.

The company has developed a healthy lifestyle culture; employees regularly take part in tournaments in football, table tennis, swimming, cross-country skiing and other disciplines, and support blood donation campaigns.

“The decline in consumer activity and demand for construction materials certainly has a negative impact on the cement industry.
