In Norilsk, illegal migrants were hidden in warehouses and in hangars

In Norilsk, police found illegal migrants while checking the hangars and warehouses on Oktyabrskaya Street. This was told in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In total, the law enforcement officers checked 62 foreigners. 23 people were taken to the department, 10 of them were citizens of the Russian Federation, 13 – migrants from Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Everyone took samples of buccal epithelium and fingerprints. The detainees were checked for involvement in the commission of crimes.

During the audit, administrative violations were identified:

  • under Part 1 of Art. 18.8 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay in the Russian Federation) – in relation to two persons;
  • under Part 1. Art. 19.15.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (accommodation of a citizen of the Russian Federation at the place of stay or at the place of residence in the residential premises without registration or the assumption of such a residence by the employer or the owner of this dwelling) – in relation to three persons;
  • under Part 1 of Art. 18.9 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the established procedure for registration of documents for the right to stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation, their residence, movement, changes in the place of stay) – in relation to 1 person.

An administrative offense was also revealed under Part 1.1 of Art. 18.8 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the stay regime in the Russian Federation, expressed in the absence of documents confirming this right), committed by one of the citizens. Now the issue of expulsion outside the country is being resolved.

Currently, police officers continue to work aimed at identifying and suppressing violations of migration legislation, establishing places of illegal finding of foreign citizens and stateless persons, their residence and the implementation of illegal labor activity.
