Ukraine proposes suspending attacks on the energy sector. Zelensky doubts Moscow's intentions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday evening that Ukraine is ready for an energy truce if Russia agrees to it. However, he added that Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure prove that Moscow is not interested in peace talks.

Earlier on Tuesday, Zelensky was in Italy; met with Pope Leo XIV and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. (PAP)
