Families of Heroes of Russia met with the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on a memorable day

On December 9, Krasnoyarsk celebrated the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland. Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Victory Memorial along with the relatives of the fallen defenders of the Motherland. The ceremony was attended by veterans of the special military operation, volunteers and government officials.

Particular attention at the event was paid to the feat of the SVO participants. After laying wreaths, Kotyukov personally spoke with the families of Krasnoyarsk residents who received the title of Hero of Russia. Among them are the relatives of military personnel Gleb Mikhailov, Konstantin Chirkov and others who performed feats during a special military operation.

Relatives of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War Mikhail Ivanovich Mudrov and Pyotr Filippovich Gribolev also came to the meeting.

Eleven residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory became Heroes of Russia for their courage in the Northern Military District. Five of them continue to perform missions in the combat zone. There are a total of 26 Heroes of Russia in the region, many of whom have distinguished themselves in modern conflicts, defending the sovereignty of the country.
