The sink needs to be cleaned not only when stains are visible. From water, soap and toothpaste, plaque constantly accumulates on it, which makes the metal or enamel dull. Over time, stains appear, and a grayish coating appears in the corners. But you can restore shine without sprays and gels. One lemon is enough.
What to do:
- Clear the sink of large debris and drain the water.
- Cut the lemon in half.
- Dip one half in baking soda.
- Scrub the surface of the sink, especially in the corners and around the drain. Citric acid dissolves limescale, and baking soda gently polishes without scratching.
- Leave for 5-7 minutes.
- Rinse with warm water and wipe with a dry cloth.
This method not only removes stains, but also removes the smell of stagnant water. Lemon is a natural disinfectant, and baking soda is a mild abrasive. Together they work better than any spray, leaving no chemical residue.
Do this once a week and your sink will always look fresh, even without daily cleaning.
