A contractor has been identified for the construction of a school in Solnechny, Krasnoyarsk.

Stroytekhmontazh LLC will build a school for 1,100 students in the 5th microdistrict of Krasnoyarsk Solnechny. The company won the bidding and the Capital Construction Department signed a municipal contract with it worth 2 billion 49 million rubles, the mayor’s office reported.

The institution will be located on the territory near the 72nd building on Sokolovskaya Street. Parea of ​​the plot – 2.5 hectares.

By the end of December, the contractor will install a fence along the site and a construction site, and then begin excavation work: it is necessary to prepare the area for driving piles. The terrain is difficult – with a fairly large difference in heights.

Directly construction of the school will begin in February 2026. The façade of the building will be made in dark and light gray tones with decorative elements. Inside, in addition to classrooms and other offices, there are two lobbies, an assembly hall, three workshops, a cooking and home economics room, a universal studio, a catering unit, a medical block with a dentist’s office, a library, and four gyms. A complex of sports grounds, a motor city and a play and recreation area will also be built. The area will be landscaped: birch trees, lilac bushes, cotoneaster, spirea, willow and other trees and plants will be planted.
