The project for the construction of a new temple in Krasnoyarsk has been approved

Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk got acquainted with the project for the construction of a new building for the Church of the Three Great Hierarchs on the right bank of Krasnoyarsk and approved it.

As the press service of the diocese said, the decision to build a new stone church on a vacant lot next to the existing building on the historical site was made in connection with the prospect of expanding Sverdlovskaya Street to a multi-lane road.

The construction project was presented by the rector of the church, Father Vasily Vershinsky, saying that the preparation of technical conditions (water supply, electricity supply) has already been carried out and design work for practical implementation is beginning.

“The Bishop got acquainted with the layout, architectural solutions and concept of the future temple, after which he blessed and approved the presented project. Also at the meeting, current issues of organizing work, implementation deadlines and necessary approvals were discussed,” the diocese said.
