On the right bank of Krasnoyarsk, a passenger electric train fatally injured a 39-year-old local resident. It all happened this morning at a bus stop platform “Student”.
Transport police found that the woman, disregarding safety rules, was wearing headphones and crossing the railway tracks on the deck in front of an approaching electric train. Despite the measures taken by the locomotive crew, a collision with a pedestrian could not be avoided.
The woman died from her injuries while being taken to the hospital.
After another tragedy on the railway road, Krasnoyarsk residents are reminded to follow safety measures: you can cross the tracks if the distance to the train is less than 400 meters, but you should take off your headphones and hood, which make it difficult to notice the approaching train. It is especially dangerous to cross the railway in areas where visibility is limited in at least one direction.
