In Tuva, dogs tore the face of a 7-year-old child

In the capital of Tuva, a 7-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition after being attacked by two dogs, Vse42.ru reported, citing regional departments.

It all happened on December 3 in the Vavilinsky Zaton microdistrict. A 7-year-old boy was alone on the street. Suddenly he was attacked by several dogs gathered in a pack. A post published in one of the local public pages shows that there are at least 7 animals. The boy is lying on the ground, and the dogs are biting him. An adult managed to scare away the animals by jumping out of the building.

The Kyzyl mayor's office reported that the dogs belonged to the boy's neighbor, who let them go for a walk unattended. As a result, an administrative report was drawn up against the owner of the animals, and two Tuvan shepherd dogs were seized by employees of the special capture service. After the incident, the prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee began an investigation.

A state of emergency has been introduced in the city; it will last until March 4, 2026. During this period, it is allowed to catch all dogs without owners, even sterilized ones. After 2 weeks, if the owners do not show up, the animals will be euthanized.

“The increase in the number of requests from citizens, cases of aggressive behavior of animals and increased epizootic risks require the adoption of prompt measures,” noted the Veterinary Service of Tuva.

Let us remind you that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the end of October, dogs killed a 10-year-old boy who walked across the field near his house to a familiar shepherd. After this, the region adopted a new version of the law on the treatment of dogs.
