The host of the “Mykolin Weather” program on ICTV2, Ukrainian actor Nikolai Lutsenko receives about 26 thousand UAH in pension. He stated this in an interview, which was published on April 23 on the RBC-Ukraine Life YouTube channel.
“My pension has shrunk by half. Inflation. I retired in 1914 – I had a very good pension. Closer to the maximum,” he admitted.
Lutsenko did not name the exact amount, but noted that 12 years ago his pension was about 26 thousand UAH, but then it was completely different money.
“Slowly, little by little, my pension has shrunk by half. Well, this is such a thing. It’s objective. It’s like that for everyone. It’s just the state of our economy. Especially now, when war is not so simple,” the presenter said.
He admitted that he also has savings.
“At my age, this is a must. I won’t tell you how many and where they are,” he added.

At the same time, more than a third of pensioners receive about 3,250 UAH. 15% of pensioners (more than 1.5 million people) receive a pension in the amount of more than 10 thousand UAH (on average 16 thousand UAH). At the same time, 63 thousand pensioners receive a pension below the subsistence level, and 261 thousand Ukrainians live on exactly this minimum – 2361 UAH.
