A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory sold a car under the influence of scammers and decided to cancel the deal

In the Berezovsky district, a man demands through the court to return ownership of a car that he sold under the influence of swindlers.

The plaintiff’s statement states that in the period from October 14 to October 29, unknown persons called him under the guise of employees of the FSB and Rosfinmonitoring. They told the man that the scammers were trying to illegally debit money from his bank account and send it to Ukraine, and also wanted to register his car in the name of third parties.

“Deceived by unidentified persons, in order to prevent the above actions, the man withdrew funds belonging to him in the amount of almost 9 million from bank accounts and made a transfer to an account indicated by unidentified persons,” said the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In addition, at the direction of false specialists, the plaintiff sold his car at a reduced price. For a car worth 3,500,000 rubles, he earned only 2,320,000 rubles. The man also sent these funds to the scammers.

When a resident of the Berezovsky district realized that he had become a victim of scammers, he went to court to declare the purchase and sale agreement invalid. At the same time, he stated that he was ready to return the transaction amount to the defendant.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for the case.
