A truck driver used a mechanism to hide license plates in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and lost his license

Traffic police officers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory stopped a truck with an automatic mechanism for hiding license plates. The incident occurred in August on a highway near Kansk, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

During the inspection, police discovered that the front license plate of the truck was mounted on a special hinge. The device allowed the driver to move it out of sight.

A 45-year-old resident of the Altai Territory explained that in this way he tried to avoid recording violations. He admitted that this year he has already been brought to justice more than ten times for various violations of traffic rules.

The police filed an administrative document under the article on violation of the rules for installing state license plates. The court, after studying the evidence, decided to deprive the driver of his license for one year.
