A batch of marinated salmon fillets is withdrawn from the market by the manufacturer, after the presence of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria was detected. In a warning on the website of the National Sanitary-Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, it is said that Listeria can produce an illness with flu-like symptoms.
ANSVSA also presented the identification number of the batch with Listeria:

“People who have products from the above-mentioned lot are recommended not to consume them and to bring them back to the SC Grand Food Distribution SRL (Good Market) store where they bought them,” says the ANSVSA message.
The value of the products will be returned, without the need to present the tax receipt.
“Listeriosis can manifest itself with flu-like symptoms, such as fever, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting and stomach pain.
It can cause health problems if the person is pregnant or if they have a weakened immune system,” the quoted source added.
