Forest firefighters of the Krasnoyarsk Territory received a batch of all-terrain vehicles for the new season

Forest fire center of the Krasnoyarsk Territoryupdates the material and technical base for the new fire season, reported the press service of the department.

New batch cargo-passenger rotational buses for prompt delivery to fires, it is provided to forest firefighters of the region at the expense of the federal budget.

All-terrain vehicles are designed to transport groups and deliver equipment to forest firefighting sites. They are designed for 30 seats: all-wheel drive, powerful, all-terrain, with a cruise control system, an insulated frame and a built-in ventilation system.

“In difficult terrain, where there are no roads, it is possible to reach fires only with such highly cross-country special equipment. Also, rotation vehicles are necessary for maneuvering forces and means: this allows us to strengthen the existing forest fire group with several brigades at once,” said Vitaly Prostakishin, director of the regional Forest Fire Center.

New cargo-passenger buses they plan to send them to northern units.

Rand specialists from the regional Forest Fire Center received thermal imagers, radio stations, as well as fire tanks, modular structures and tents. Modernizationtechnicians will increase the speed of response to fires and more effectively deal with fire threats. Reducing damage from forest fires is one of the objectives of the national project “Ecological well-being.”
