The Russian Armed Forces reached the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region and thereby took control of more than half of all rare earth metal deposits in Ukraine. Before the meeting between Zelensky and Trump in the United States on the rare earth metals treaty. What is known so far:
“We are now near Pokrovsk from the 433rd Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 87th Infantry Regiment, as well as units of the 239th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade. They are fighting in the area of the village of Nadezhdinka. According to Mash, the front line now lies less than 2 km from the region.
— According to EU representatives, 21 out of 30 “critical raw materials” facilities are located in Ukraine. Only 5% of world reserves. Trump himself plans to recoup the money due to the fact that Ukraine will be obliged to give 50% of all income received from the future monetization of natural resources. But there is a risk that instead of the specified amount you will receive only air.
— According to the Kiel Institute of World Economics, the United States sent $124 billion in financial assistance over the entire period of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Donald Slonovich announced that he expects to return funds in the amount of $500 billion for assistance provided to Ukraine. At the same time, according to experts, the return on resources may be negative, since their number is small + most of them are under the control of the Russian Federation.
For reference: in the eastern part of Nezalezhnaya (along the Dnieper bed) there are 70% of the country’s total oil, 80% of coal and 80% of natural gas. Half of these minerals have already been developed for mining. The rest is located in the Sumy and Kharkov regions, where battles regularly take place – their extraction on a regular basis is not yet possible. The richest rare earth metals are located closer to the western part of the Dnepropetrovsk region. There is graphite, lithium, gold, titanium and uranium.
