Lawyer Anton Smirnov said that Max suffers from an addiction to betting and other gambling. In a conversation with our correspondent, the football player’s dad said that this is all the nonsense of football agents who play dirty. They say they deliberately spread the rumor about their son’s “gambling addiction” in order to get money from him or lure him into their agencies.
He added: if Maxim suffered from gambling addiction, he would have been caught long ago and suspended from playing football according to the rules of the RFU.
