The Polish Financial Supervision Authority is investigating Orlen's plans to increase its involvement in Energa to 100%. – wrote Jacek Barszczewski, spokesman for the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, on the X platform.

“In connection with information regarding Orlen SA's plans to increase its involvement in Energa SA to 100% – including the announcement of an invitation to shareholders to submit offers for the sale of shares – the Polish Financial Supervision Authority is conducting explanatory activities covering all aspects of this matter. The purpose of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority is a full and reliable analysis of all circumstances and the publication of its results as soon as possible,” wrote Barszczewski.

Orlen announced on Wednesday that it wants to increase its involvement in Energa to 100 percent, will send an invitation to the company's shareholders to submit offers for the sale of shares and will offer PLN 18.87 per share.

The invitation will cover a total of 37,578,474 Energa shares, i.e. a number which, together with the Energa shares already held by Orlen, constitutes 100 percent. all shares in the share capital.

Acceptance of sales offers under the invitation will start on December 1, 2025, and the process is expected to end on December 17, 2025. (PAP Business)
