According to the Executive, the press conference will be transmitted live on the Government Facebook and YouTube accounts and on the unique distribution channel of the Victoria Palace.
The government has already announced that it will propose the modification of the legislation to limit the mandates of those who hold management positions in public companies, as well as the ceiling of their allowances to reasonable values. Also, all the data regarding the composition of the management and the financial indicators of these companies will be published.
Another goal is to reduce losses or even close the societies that have losses for several years in a row. In some cases, said Bolojan, there are more members in the board of directors than employees.
The prime minister has announced that the legislation on the governance of these companies will be modified so that the board of directors has fewer members, and their allowances are capped. At the same time, the performance indicators will be changed on the basis of which the leaders are evaluated.
