MTS will help in creating a comfortable urban environment of Krasnoyarsk

June 20 15:31

The MTS digital ecosystem will help in the study of the pedestrian availability of the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict “take -off”. Social partnership was formed between MTS, the administration of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Foundation “City for pedestrians”.

MTS Yrent Kiksherring service, part of the MTS ecosystem, provided participants in the project marathon “take -off for pedestrians” the opportunity to move on electric scooters during the field studies of the urban environment of the microdistrict. The experience of users of personal mobility tools, as well as the experience of pedestrians, will help in the design of a comfortable and convenient urban environment “take -off”.

As part of the project marathon, 126 participants, including 100 students, will be able to offer their ideas on the pedestrian infrastructure “Rights”. Within three days – from June 20 to June 22 – participants in the project marathon will work on specific tasks: the creation of modern pedestrian routes, the design of comfortable public spaces, the development of technological solutions for the city and a harmonious combination of natural and architectural elements.

“The experience of conducting a project marathon is a story unique for Krasnoyarsk, when residents of the“ take -off ”microdistrict and social activists came up with the initiative to independently engage in the creation of a comfortable urban environment. We want ideas to turn into reality, and do everything necessary for this. After the competition is completed, the so -called “ideological traffic lights” will be formed, with the help of which we will determine how we can implement a particular proposal. One of the priority tasks for us is the formation of a pedestrian frame of the microdistrict – it is necessary to logically connect a comfortable and safe pastime on city streets. What needs to be done for this is that the participants of the project marathon “take -off for pedestrians” have to be found out, ”said Yulia Solovarova, head of the architecture department, chief architect of the city of Krasnoyarsk.

For studies, advanced methods are used, the main ones on the analysis of big data – in particular, MTS, based on the data of the geoanalytic service, “Geo -effect”, formed heat cards with information about the movement, number and composition of the population “Running”. The use of such data will help to see the most popular routes of citizens, entry points and exit from the microdistrict zone, the number of people in the location, depending on the time of day. The data will form the basis of the improvement of urban space.

“One of the favorite locations for trips for trips last season was the Krasnoyarsk Microdistrict of the“ take -off ”. We are pleased that with the help of our scooters it will be possible to improve the infrastructure of the district and create comfortable conditions not only for users of personal mobility tools, but also for pedestrians and other road users, ”said Yurt Anton Union, director of the Siberian and Far Eastern Division of MTS.

“The fund is interested in the introduction of ideas that take into account the interests of residents and entrepreneurs, and also help improve the city infrastructure and strengthen social ties. People should more often choose hiking, replacing the car – the “capsule of egoism” – with live human communication, ”said Andrei Shevelev, director of the City for Pedestrian Foundation.

The work of the participants will be appreciated by the expert jury: practicing architects and urbanists, representatives of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the Siberian Federal District, the urban environment and landscape architects.
