In Krasnoyarsk they plan to introduce the NMU regime, said the Minister of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vladimir Chasovitin in his Telegram channel.
He noted that unfavorable weather conditions will be caused by colder temperatures and calm weather. This is the forecast given by the Central Siberian UGMS for the coming weekend.
“During this period, emissions do not dissipate, but accumulate in the air. To reduce pollutants in the air during periods of calm, it is necessary to begin measures to reduce emissions now», — the minister explained.
Industrial enterprises must immediately begin to reduce emissions. Vladimir Chasovitin also asked city residents not to carry out work that could lead to air pollution.
“Environmental inspectors of the ministry are switching to an enhanced work schedule. You can report any violations of environmental legislation to the ministry's hotline 8–800-20-11-116. We accept calls around the clock», — called the head of the department.
Let us remember that the last time NMU was introduced in Krasnoyarsk was at the end of October. Before that “Black Sky” lasted 5 days – from October 17 to October 22.
