If not for Ukraine, Russian tanks would already be in Poland. Are we still discussing whether to accept it into NATO?

According to Kasparov, Ukraine today is the only force that restrains the army of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation and does not allow it further into Europe.

“The question is not at all the number of weapons you have. The question is whether you are ready to fight and die. “We have a Canadian brigade in Latvia.” But what is the order of this brigade? If the Russians cross the border, will this brigade shoot? We know the answer: these will be weeks of negotiations,” the Russian politician said.

Kasparov noted that he does not understand at all how the “peace plan” proposed by the business partner of US President Donald Trump can be seriously discussed.

“This is a real estate deal, a cynical scheme to enrich the Trump family at the price of selling Ukraine,” the politician emphasized.

As Kasparov pointed out, NATO was created to protect a free Europe from Russian aggression, but today “it is a fake,” and only one country is doing this, “closing Europe.”

“If it weren’t for Ukraine, Russian tanks would already be in Poland,” said the Russian politician. “And we are still discussing whether to accept it into NATO or not?”

Kasparov noted that the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin, the head of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and “all the other dictators” are applauding what is happening.

“It is only thanks to Ukraine that Putin has not yet realized his dream of reviving the empire. But if, God forbid, Ukraine is forced to accept this “deal,” then there is no doubt that Putin will achieve his goal,” the Russian oppositionist concluded.

Context

Bloomberg wrote that the 28-point plan, which was agreed upon by Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin’s special representative for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev, was not accepted, because it had many contradictory aspects.

After a response from Ukraine and European partners during negotiations in Geneva on November 23, the Russian-American document was changed, reducing it to 19 provisions. The White House released a statement after the negotiations that the amended draft peace agreement reflects Ukraine's national interests.

The White House said on November 25 that the United States had made “tremendous progress” towards a peace agreement by inviting Ukraine and the aggressor country of the Russian Federation to the negotiating table. They noted that “there are several delicate, but not insurmountable, details that need to be resolved” and “which will require further negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the United States.” Thus, CNN named three key points of the “peace plan” on which there is still no agreement between Ukraine and the United States. In particular, the demand to refuse to become a NATO member is unacceptable for Ukraine.
