Since the beginning of the year, more than 6 thousand passengers with limited mobility have received special assistance at Krasnoyarsk Mainline stations

In January – October 2025, 6,370 passengers with disabilities used special services on the territory of large station complexes of the Krasnoyarsk Railway. This is 13% more than in the same period last year.
The largest number of requests to the mobility assistance center were received in Krasnoyarsk (3973), Abakan (1273) and Achinsk (632). This service was also used by visitors to the Bogotol, Mariinsk, Zaozernaya and Kansk-Yeniseisky stations.
Station employees provide the full range of support: they meet and accompany passengers with limited mobility, help with obtaining travel documents, checking in luggage and boarding the train. If necessary, a wheelchair or gurney is provided for bedridden patients. All services are provided free of charge.

KrasRussian Railways is constantly working to improve conditions and increase accessibility of travel for passengers with disabilities. This year, a specialized waiting room for passengers with limited mobility opened at the Yenisei station.
It includes seats for hearing-impaired and visually impaired passengers, chargers for electric wheelchairs, a tactile-sensory video terminal, an induction loop and a button to call personnel who will provide situational assistance if necessary.

Krasnoyarsk Railways constantly interacts with regional public associations of disabled people to take into account their wishes. At large railway station complexes, the necessary infrastructure has been created for a comfortable stay for passengers with limited mobility: ramps and lifts have been installed, specialized sanitary rooms and rest rooms have been equipped, tactile directional signs, Braille signs and mnemonic diagrams have been installed. Induction systems also work to transmit sound signals to hearing aids.
