The man who escaped from a prison in Dâmbovița county is also sought by Prahova County, according to police.
Police officers, border guards, as well as other structures within public institutions continue the search for the prisoner who escaped, on Tuesday evening, from the Mărgineni Penitentiary, announced the representatives of the Dâmboviţa Police Inspectorate, according to News.ro.
The man is from Prahova County and is 32 years old.
“This morning, the searches were also extended in Prahova county. In this case, the police have prepared a criminal case in terms of the offense of escape,” informed the officials of the Dâmboviţa Police.
The detainee was definitively sentenced to five years and ten months in prison for sexual act with a minor and executed the punishment in closed regime.
He escaped on Tuesday night from the inner work point of the penitentiary climbing the fence of the prison while working on the food block.
