The prosecutor's office helped a resident of the North Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory obtain the right to study leave. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory agency.
According to law enforcement officials, for a year the resident of Severo-Yeniseisk was not only a conscientious employee, but also a student at the Krasnoyarsk Construction College, preparing for an important stage – intermediate certification. Following the law, he sent his employer an application for study leave. However, the company management, ignoring the provisions of the labor code, refused this.
“Overnight, plans for the session and future qualifications were in jeopardy. But the prosecutor's office stood up to defend the violated right. The supervisory authority, having received the employee’s appeal, conducted an inspection and confirmed that the refusal to grant leave was illegal,” the department reported.
The prosecutor's office made a representation to the company. After the measure was taken, the student received his legal leave to undergo certification, as well as all payments due to him.
