The Krasnoyarsk Territory is completely ready to conduct the Unified State Exam and the OGE. The Unified State Exam starts on Monday, June 1. The children will take history, literature and chemistry, the regional Ministry of Education said.
From June 22 to June 25, there are reserve days for exams in all subjects. 1,6421 people will take part in the main wave, of which 15,139 are graduates of this year. There are 164 examination points in the region, 51 of which are located in hard-to-reach and remote areas. More than 8,000 people will support the operation of these points. Seven points will open at home, where children with disabilities will take exams.
The most popular elective subjects were: specialized mathematics (6,616 people), social studies (6,231) and computer science (3,235). The Unified State Examination in Chinese was chosen by 9 participants, in Spanish – 3, in German – 4, in French – 2. 1,408 graduates plan to take the English language
To obtain a certificate, you must successfully pass the Russian language and mathematics (professional or basic level). Graduates choose the remaining subjects based on the requirements of the universities they plan to enroll in.
“Compared to last year, the number of graduates who chose physics and specialized mathematics to take the Unified State Exam increased by 3%. The number of people wishing to take biology and chemistry increased by 2%. Children's interest in exact sciences will grow. The region has adopted a set of measures to improve the quality of natural science and mathematics education until 2030. The document became the basis for systematic work to strengthen the teaching of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science in schools in the region. By 2030, at least half of graduates will choose natural science and mathematics subjects to take the Unified State Exam,” noted the region’s Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova.
Unified State Exam assignments will be received via a special secure Internet channel. And after writing the work, the finished sheets will be scanned here, in the classrooms where the participants wrote the exam, and sent for checking. Video surveillance will be installed in all offices, and police officers and medical workers will be on duty at each point. All points were provided with consumables – paper, toners. The issue of uninterrupted power and water supply to Unified State Examination points is under special control.
This year, 35,739 ninth-graders will take the OGE. The main period will run from June 2 to June 16, with reserve days from June 29 to July 6. Participants will write exams in four subjects: compulsory mathematics and Russian language, as well as two more subjects to choose from.
