The heating system is in collapse, given that Elcen, the company of the Ministry of Energy, has to collect over 1.25 billion lei from the Termoenergetica, money that it did not receive from the General City Hall and announced that it must enter into insolvency, according to the law, said, on Wednesday, Energy Minister, Sebastian Burduja. On the other hand, Mayor Nicușor Dan claims that the municipality will make the outstanding payments to the Termoenergetics during the year, informs AGERPRES.
“The heating system itself is in collapse. Elcen, the company of the Ministry of Energy, has to collect over 1.25 billion lei. The City Hall did not pay to the thermo -energy, its own company, for which, the last days, the therma -energy management was written to the general mayor, because it obliges the law, that it must enter into insolvency.”
“Bucharest is heading for bankruptcy”
According to him, Bucharest also goes “with fast steps to bankruptcy” after five years in which he was under the administration of Nicuşor Dan, his debts being around 4.7 billion lei.
“Today, the capital is on the verge of budget collapse (…) If we add up all the debts of Bucharest, current, we see that we reach somewhere 4.7 billion lei (…) What is close to half of the current year, and according to the same law 273/2006, article 75, paragraph 1, letter a) this means a state. In his opinion, the general mayor of the capital is applying for the presidency because he runs away from the problems of Bucharest and is overcome by the situation.
