Another student denounces the abuses of Alexandru Toader, son of Tudorel Toader. “I perceived his looks as intrusive and inappropriate”
This accuses Alexandru Toader of making distinctions in classes between the way he spoke to female students based on the way they looked.

The student says that she was not a victim of sexual harassment, but that the teacher chose his “targets” from among the better-looking female students, and that she tried unsuccessfully to file a complaint against the way he taught classes.
On Monday evening, the Ziarul de Iași editorial office received a message from a young woman who recently graduated, who requested to remain anonymous, and who stated that the situation is generalized and known for several generations.
“I was Mr. Toader's first-year student in Civil Law. I was not directly approached inappropriately by him, but his general behavior towards female students was well known among my female colleagues. From the beginning, there were female colleagues who reported being contacted on various social networks, and the atmosphere around the course was one that made many female students feel uncomfortable. Personally, I perceived his looks and attitude towards female students to be intrusive and inappropriate, especially when the differences in treatment appeared to be based on physical appearance”writes the student.
This describes the fact that for three years he failed the Civil Law exam, the discipline taught by Alexandru Toader. She was left in arrears and then retaken repeatedly, and in her senior year she tried to file an appeal against the teacher, considering the grades arbitrary.
“The response I received was surprising and troubling: I was strongly suggested to contact Mr. Toader directly and 'talk very nicely' to him because he would 'surely understand'. The tone and insistence on this formula gave me the impression that such personal interactions were considered common practice, although in a proper academic system no student should have to 'fix' a teacher in order to receive an explanation of the assessment. I refused to let him I am contacting for reasons of dignity and fear that the situation could degenerate”, the young woman added.
While Alexandru Toader chose to remain silent in the scandal, his father, former Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader, seems to have taken over communication on the subject.

“Indirectly, it is a campaign against me, carried out by those to whom I have done too much good. Indirectly, it is a defamatory attack against my son, Alexandru, who, at the faculty, keeps the amphitheatres full and at the notary's office carries out his work with honesty and fairness. We have the representation of who is hunting and for whom his position at the chair is being hunted. We will let the justice decide, with confidence that the judicial proceedings against these defamatory actions will clear things up!”, stated Tudorel Toader.
Law lecturer Alexandru Toader, the son of the former Minister of Justice, is accused by two female students of having sexually harassed them. One of the young women claimed that she had sex with him even in college and at his downtown notary's office.
The University's Ethics Commission announced that it was decided to open an internal investigation to clarify the situation and, depending on its outcome, appropriate sanctions will be adopted.
